Nothing honestly attractive or could make me feel excited. It was a nice rainy day in March when we walked along the park. There is a Kindermuseum inside that can be visited as well. There are some flamingos 🦩 also in the end of the park next to Blooms part. But you are not able to see them closer.

The 70 acre park is one of the great urban parks in Europe and home to the German Rosarium, over 3,000 varieties of roses blooming in the summer. The hybrid roses are unthinkable beauty! The vibrant color, size and fragrance are just surreal. There’s something cathartic about getting lost in the garden like this.
In addition to the spectacular garden, the park also hosts quite a few gardens with unbelievable exotic plants.
The park appeals to both adults and children with its summer concerts, festivals and numerous recreational facilities for family such as the Spielbogen. No wonder it is THE top leisure destination in North Rhine-Westphalia or in entire Germany.
While you enjoy a piece of sumptuous cake at the revolving restaurant in the 209 meter high Florianturn, your eyes can feast on the beautiful view over the Ruhr.

This is actually one of the best places to go in Dortmund. There are a lot of things to see:
-Florianturm, is actually the most famous and amazing thing inside the Westfalenpark.
And depending from the season, the other attractions change...like the Märchenstraßew here you can listen to german tales.
Come here, and you will have a lot of fun. FOR ALL AGES!

The park is very easy to reach. It is quite big and people can enjoy their time and relax. The Florian Tower is situated in the park and there you can get a 360 degrees overview of the whole city and also dine in the rotating restaurant! There are also lakes in the park where you can get a little boat and a lift which can take you from one side of the park to the other. There are also different kinds of sports you can practice there such as soccer and beach volleyball. I loved this park!

Visited here prior to a Dortmund match - the ground is an easy 20 min stroll away.
It’s a pleasant enough park but I am amazed that Dortmund city sees fit to charge adults and children (over 6) €3.50 each to enter, especially when the tower is currently closed. Also the mini golf was shut despite it being a warm sunny day. And they charge extra for the mini train as well.
Frankly speaking it’s not worth the entry fee, and in any other city I’ve visited a park like this would be provided free of charge. Shame on you Dortmund.

We visited the park and we didn't expect to be so big. If you want to have a walk around the flowers this is the perfect place, if you are lazy you can take the train which costs around 3 euros to see the whole park. The view from the tower is perfect!

We chose a rainy day to visit but it didn't spoil our enjoyment at all. Just 5 euros each to get in which included a ride up the 210m high tower with fabulous views across the city. Walking around the park there was so much to see, lots of bits of art and sculpture amongst the flowers and a play park for children almost everywhere we turned. I wished we'd taken our kids. We took a fun ride in a cable car for another 2 euros. There was a miniture railway too. Lots of food places and we had a pint of lager each, just 3 euros, so certainly not a rip off by any means.

Is the restroom in the park clean?
The flush system restroom?
Is there a charge?

Alvast bedankt !!

Szia!
Fizetős maga a park is, illetve bent a libegő és a kisvasút is. A kettő kombinált jeggyel is igénybe vehető.
Nem tudom, mennyibe kerül, de szerintem érdemes.
