One big concert hall with some very unpractical seats. we had a 2 balcony seats second floor on the right side. there was almost no space to walk to your seat. At the end of the tiny small walk space (where everybody had to stand up for you) where the emergency exits. If you ask for my experience don't go... More

There is a nice story - the Wiener Philhamoniker never performed in a concert hall, what they didn't visit ahead. This hall was an exeption, they opened it! The concert hall has got an absolutely great accoustic, and we had a wonderful concert with the Dortmunder Philhamoniker.

The Concert Hall is very well build and close to the city center. Excellent parking right underneath, limited space so be in time. The concert Hall has a lot of staff helping you finding your seats. Balcony seats can give you issues trying to see the stage. Fees are high, not the cheapest of all locations.

I was for few times at this super concert hall, the first it was one Dubliners concert, and the second with a Irish tap dancing show, the quality is extra, nice acoustic, and a good view to the stage in evry place, maybe the price at the inside bar a little bit excesive

The Concert Hall is a recent addition to Dortmund and sits on the edge of the main part of the downtown. The acoustics are excellent, seats are comfortable and the size is just right for classical music. The architecture is shoebox in style and the finishes are a little stark but lighting helps soften the feel of the space. Attached... More

This quite new concert hall in Dortmund is unfortunately not located in the best area of the city. Even the lobby is impressing and there are enough entries so the hall itself so that you can easily go to your seat. The acoustics is great. I listened to the Dortmund Philharmoniker. The prices for drinks are ok and you can... More
