During our visit we could kind of see the shine - it is protected and only visible through a small window. It is an excellent story. I still recommend touring the Cathedral and going to mass on Sunday!

How the hell did anyone know who the three kings were and then collect their bones. These objects were tourist traps for pilgrims who would then buy indulgences.On this point Martin Luther was right

you cannot take pictures, but you can take away the experience; do not forget to go into every room in the tours, it is east to miss something.

This is one of the highlights of the Cathedral interior and should not be missed by visitors taking a tour of the Dom.

The Dom is open from 6am until 9pm - there may be some times during the day when services are in progress that you may not be able to visit. There is no admission charge
