The pools are great, the water as well, the floors are clean, but if you would like to go the restaurant, you need a bathrobe which is common sense, but if you haven't read the rules, it meand that you have to go back to the stairs to the entry to request one and them come back, which is a... Believe it or not, it feels amazing to sauna in all kinds of weather, even in July heat!! This is a beautiful spa/sauna located right in the heart of Cologne. Don't judge the location. Go inside and let the ambiance take you away! There are two sides to this facility: one side is for bathing suits and offers heated pools,... More

The staff were friendly and spoke English we rented a towel each for 4eur which was fine and stayed around 4 hours.our small carry on luggage fir... More

I love going to Claudius when Im in Germany. There are so many different kind of saunas to choose from - try the salt and honey sauna which they run every 2 hours I believe. The outdoor area is wonderful, once you paid to get in, most of the saunas are for free - you can pay for some extra... More

Don't be fooled by the bad location...it's great once you get inside! At first we were a little skeptical but I'm so glad we stuck it out and went inside! As Americans we're not used to all the nudity so we stayed on the clothed side, but the showers that were in the bathrooms were completely open and people were... More

What a relaxing g and fun way to spend the afternoon. The front area required bathing suites - numerous pools, hot tubs, soaking tubs, mineral bathes, etc. The back area (sauna village) does not allow bathing suites (but towels or robes are fine). We were nervous about this at first as it was something new and was unisex, but once... More

There are few things better than sitting out in a hot jacuzzi, under a cold starry December sky with a view of the Köln cathedral. I've lost count of the number of times I've visited here and I've never been disappointed. Claudius Therme has a great selection of saunas and hot and cold pools, the staff are always friendly and... Visited for the day on Thursday 5th May which was a holiday in Germany, but it was not too busy and I had an enjoyable 9 hours including some soup in the Cafe Bar and then dinner in the Eau de Clogne Restuarant and it was delicious. Enjoyed all the facilities and had a totally enjoyable day. Always try to... More

My friend and I spent 2 hours here and I agree with some reviewers, 2hrs is not enough to fully enjoy the place. I feel that you need at least 4 hrs to enjoy the facilities. To save money, please bring your own bathrobe and towel.
