Kathe Kollwitz has created some of the most poignant works any artist could achieve. Story of working class people caught up often in tragic situations of war and want - all of which she experienced herself. Recommended

The museum is not huge but contains quite many litographies by Kathe & artists inspired by her as well as a number of small sculptures. The building has good lighting and presents the works well. What is missing are more explanations about the artists thoughts...More
