Once found I felt that it was not worth the bother. Focus is on upselling you on their perfume, which is to be expected but not how I choose to spend my time.More

Visit the Farina Fragrance museum and discover the history of Eau de Cologne and its origins. Learn about some of the history of the Farina family business, the first perfume manufacturer in Cologne and you'll receive a free sample of Eau de Cologne.

The tour guide was kind and knowledgable, but the "museum" is teeny and low budget. And the tour could be done in 15-20 minutes max.

What's a little different about this museum that first of all, it's was a house. And the tours are given in first person, by the man himself (someone dressed like him, obviously) Johann Maria Farina, the maker of Eau de Cologne which makes it way...More

This place smells great. The tour is fun and informative; you learn some about the history of the Farina family business. They claim to be the first perfume manufacturer in Cologne, citing Napolean Bonaparte as one of their original customers. Get schooled in perfume-making techniques...More
