This was a really nice place to visit, since you get a 360 view of the entire city. It was one of the highlights of our trip. There is an elevator to the 28th floor and from there, a flight of stairs or another elevator for people with disabilities. Well worth the 3 euros.

Nice view of the city from the 29th floor. You go upstairs with elevator :). Th price is 3 euro per person, 2.5 euro per person for groups.

I go there with literally EVERYONE who visits Cologne. It's easy to reach by public transport or by foot crossing the Hohenzollern Bridge (with the love locks). As mentioned before the fee for the elevator is 3 €/person and you get at 360° view above Cologne. What I like best is that the fence is see-through but the platform is... More

It was very inexpensive (I think about e3 each) to ride the elevator to the top of the viewing platform. We went at nighttime, and this offered beautiful views of the bridge and Dom cathedral. The walk over the bridge was nice, and if you stop at the viewing platform near the horse statue, there is another beautiful ground-level view... More

I walked by from Deutz to the Central station. I was not allowed to bring my luggage above, which I think is OK. But it was also not possible to leave it downstairs. So if you're on your own traveling with some luggage, you can't visit it. Also the staff who told me it was not able was not friendly... More

The viewing platform has a great view of the city. We went there about 90 minutes before the sun set on a grey day - so I would recommend going up there at a time which is more bright.

This is a great spot to look over the whole city including the cathedral, at only 3 euros you really cant complain. I can imagine at peak times the wait time for the 1 small lift could be long but we were up and down in no time.
