Everything is expensive in Germany, especially for an Indian tourist who currency is undervalued to the euro. But this beautiful place is free. It's also very close to a train station, so you can save money on travel as well. Nice greenhouse and good places...More

Decided to get off the tourist bus and take a walk. The gardens are beautiful and provide a nice quiet place to spend 30 minutes to two hours. Even not one of Cologne's top tourist attractions, I'd highly recommend it.

The Botanical Gardens could be wonderful but they need a lot more care and attention and weeding ! The cafe was good and environmentally friendly - all served as a picnic.

We visited on the last day of our weekend trip, the gardens are simply stunning. Very peaceful, the perfect place for a sunday stroll. I would definetly recommend squeezing in a visit.

What a massive disappointment - checked out the website and drove 90 km to visit - paid for garage parking - and only at the gate does it tell you that dogs may not walk through. YOU CAN KEEP YOUR STUPID GARDENS

Early March so not much blooming. Daffodils and crocus. Would like to visit midsummer. It's small so easily covered.

The gardens are definitely worth the walk up there. There are plenty of nice trees, some garden beds and even an area set aside for vegetable growing. There wasn't a lot of showers at the time we were there, but we did enjoy just wandering...More
