Small but sweet and packed with species

Highly recommend a stroll around with an ice-cream from the corner Eis store, quite a gorgeous spot in central Bonn.

Absolutely a must if you come to Bonn ! Located close to the Poppelsdorf Castle. Beautiful flowers, landscape gardening, old trees, Mammut - Gingko Biloba, a lovely glasshouse with the Titan plant. You can stroll around, lots of benches to take a rest and enjoy the lovely surroundings. On Sundays you may have luck and enjoy a live jazz concert

I took the opportunity of an early arrival at conference to scoot down to the Poppelsdorf Palace and the Botanical Garden behind it. It was a beautiful day and lovely to wander among the collection of interesting plants for a couple of hours. It would have been nice to also be able to get into the glasshouses, but a glance... Spent all morning here getting lost, and admiring all the amazing sights and sounds immaculately kept. A true gem.

The garden is really interesting, it has three natural zones, and contain really interesting plants, it is relatively small, but still worth to be visited.

The entrance is free, although you can see a small Kasse building on the front. It's a beatuiful place with different floristical arts, and I will be back to see how they change during the year.

The botanical garden during week days has free entrance. They have plants all over the world, all of them with signs to read. There is also a free toilet, a fountain, a lake and breathtaking landscapes. Ideal for families, eldery and all who are curious to get to know more about nature. Close to Mineral Museum.

The botanical garden is right beside and behind the Poppelsdorf Palace. Loved the budding flowers in the springtime. Although not all the flowers where in bloom, there was much to see. I would recommend it to anyone. There were lots of locals present; some elderly, some babies in strollers, all ages. There was not only outdoor vegetation, but also massive... More

A very well kept space with many flower species, a stunning glass house with some exotic plans & temperature to match & after exiting, you can cool down by taking a stroll around the pond with the huge fountain or take a stroll in the wooded area. Very accessible on foot from the towns train station.

With the park surrounded on all sides by busy roads, it's not really the place to go for quiet and solitude. However, if you do want to just spend 20 mins wandering amongst some trees and flowers then it would be highly recommended.
