It took us about 1,5 hour to visit this house, see the collection and read more about Beethoven's life and career. On the ground floor, a musician played the Beethoven's sonatas which touched us a lot. We felt that Beethoven was still alive ...

We called in for a quick look around, four hours later we realised that we would need to forgo some of the other things to do in Bonn. Well worth the time and money.. Entry is €6 and the audio guide is €2:50, I would absolutely recommend the audio guide for non-German speakers, there is English information about some of... More

This is the kind of museum you need to say you have visited but to be quite honest, apart from the background music, I found it a bit boring. If you aren't a German reader there is not much in English. It could do with a rethink and revamp to make it more user friendly.

I spend a few hours in there. It was inspiring to walk through that house and all the spaces where Beethoven lived for the first years of his life. It has a big variety of objects, paintings and documents. And, I have to say, the brochure is outstanding. Also, I recommend finishing your visit with a few minutes in silence... More

I've been here a couple times. Suggest you rent the audio guide in your own language as it goes into some more details. The Beethoven-Haus is pretty easy to walk through, and it is all on your own time. There are stairs, but not too many. It is interesting to see the old original instruments as well as copies of... Beethoven-Haus Bonn, is located at the city center. However, Beethoven lived in a number of locations both in Bonn, Germany and Vienna, Austria. He played violin and grand piano since childhood with astonishing skill. But he has never heard what he was playing. It gave me a great lesson that music is beyond the five sense organs as evidenced by... More

It´s astonishing to look at a piano in this lovely little house and think that the fingers of one of the best composers of all times have touched those keys. Visiting this museum really lets you dive into Beethoven´s world. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited the Beethoven-Haus with a school group of 20. We found the staff very helpful and more than willing to make our visit worthwhile. The house includes many interesting exhibits which give a good insight into the building and Beethoven's life at the time. Certainly a must-see for the musician with a well stocked shop with a good range of... More

Spent a morning in Beethoven House. Very detailed information about the great composer's life. $6 for entry is very valuable. You can go and visit the "Haribo" outlet factory after this. not too far away.
