A lot of large locs are displayed at this large museum. The trains are very well preserved and show the industrial history of the railway. Furthermore it was a good visit. Be prepared for an outdoor oriented museum, and the price could have been lower...More

By time the visit I mean get a time table on line or at the tourist office and THEN see the steam trains of yesterday. Go on a Sunday and enjoy a journey - or simply take in the museum.

if you don't have te opportunity to be there on a steam day (20 sept in 2014 ),it is rather disappointing .Few comments in English.Lots of steam engines and coaches in the roundhouse and elsewhere but you can't get inside; Only for real train buffs..
