The Aquis Plaza, which was opened in October 2015, is located at the end of the Adalbertstraße shopping mile in Aachen. The plaza has about 130 shops covering a sales area of 29,200 square metres, split over two floors. A food court with different cuisines from all over the world has something for every taste. Perfect for well-earned nourishment after a shopping marathon.

It is not so big shopping mall but I think it is the biggest mall in Aachen. It has many brands and products with reasonable price. Rituals brand can be found at this place. A bit pricey stuff but comes with valuable quality. Many things can be found here

This is a new shopping mall in the heart of Aachen, with about 130 shops and restaurants. The mall looks luxurious and has a great variation in shops, from a supermarket to fashion brand stores. The layout is nice and there are lots of possibilities for a break on a cough or in a restaurant.
The only big let-down is the enormous amount of smokers just outside the entrances, perhaps also because of the free Wifi in the mall. There are remains of cigarettes everywhere and it is not nice to walk through thick smoke to enter the mall. I hope they will able to manage this.

In Aachen, May be the one and only one mall right in the center of the city.
We were staying right behind and it’s almost a daily routine to go out to the plaza leisurely and spend time shopping and invariably eat at the variety of restaurant located on the food court.
This has high end shops as Zara and middle levels too. Well variety with multiple brands might be short but you get quality goods. Like for spectacles there’s KRASS and none else.!
You get many shops for jewellery, fashion, perfumes kitchenware etc.,
There’s a mini super market too where one can get their home needs
Good place to ha g out, spend some money... make your purse lighter ... but eat and go back with. Heavier bowels...

The new Aquis Plaza shopping center is located in the Eastern part of the city centre.
It's new and nice, you'll find lots of shops, from a supermarket in the basement to a food court on the top floor. And almost everything in between.
So far, so good.
But the new shopping centre also attracts shops (and visitors) from other parts of the city, which means that they have become less attractive and that shops are leaving other parts of town.
Aquis Plaza is a nice place for shopping (especially on rainy days), but also downgrades of other parts of the city.

New and central mall. Here you can find almost everything: Supermarket (REWE), Grocerie Store (DM), Pharmacy, fast-food restaurants, really good Hamburger (BURGERISTA), Eletronic Store (SATURN), etc.

..nothing you haven't seen before. Average shops you can find everywhere else as well, poor Food Area, most of the food there is really cheap and dirty upstairs, the air in it is horrible, no matter if summer or winter, too much people on too small corridors, not really child or elder person friendly.
Everywhere security as if would be a high-class mall what mostly just is pathetic .. Sometimes they really have nice activities in there like cookie baking with kids and stuff but the mall itself is nothing special. I like their christmas decoration really much, thats maybe something worth to see, but if you have a bershka, saturn and superdry in your city as well there's really no reason to spend money on a trip to it.

Due to the fact that the city of Aachen is getting worse and worse in the last few years (many empty buildings in the main shopping streets (like : Adalbertsteinweg) and the shopping area does not feel safe anymore due to the sheer amount of beggars, this shopping center does raise the bar a little. Unfortunately there is nothing special to see, the usual suspects (chain stores) that occupy every mall in Germany are here as well, a food court serving fast-food and a "smokescreen" in front due to the smoking areas at the entrances.

This mall is quite new and was only built recently. It is in the middle of the city with great access to all other shopping streets and attractions
