About
The Klein Printen bakery in Aachen is centrally located in the inner city. We have also set up a small Museum in Franzstrasse, a small group of at least twenty people are welcome to visit us for a tour, a sniff and a nibble. The museum is only available to the public through our guided tours. Please contact us in advance to book an appointment. We'll share with you some interesting details on the raw materials and ingredients, but remember the recipe is a carefully guarded secret so we won't be sharing that with you. However we will explain the differences between the preparation and processing of the dough in today's modern day, as to the way it was done many generations ago. Please contact us in advance to book an appointment as the tour is approximately an hour long. If you're pressed for time we do offer a shorter version of the tour. As stated before we can accommodate a group of at least twenty people. If your group is larger than 50 people they will be split up.

You just have to taste "Printen" to feel the traditional atmosphere of Aachen. We tried the printen from "Klein" on our first day of the trip. At the last day we wanted to eat the delicious treats one more time, in order to say goodbye to the amazing city. We barely remembered where the shop was, so we had to walk for an hour and search for it. But it was worth it. Once we found it, the stuff was so happy to see that we came back. Everyone from the cashier to the owner were very friendly and was very reluctant to help us buy the right presents for our friends at home.
I highly recommend visiting Printenbackerei Klein & Printen Museum.

you definitely should taste the Printen Konfekt - small tasty bites, covered in one of three different types of chocolate or "pure". The best in town, I think!

In the middle-age Aachen city was deteriorated by an immens fire, and people had no money to reconstruct the city, so some crafty people must thinking about how make money ?
How to raise money ? that was the big question - the lack of money was the big problem, money worries make them a hard life
so one day a refined baker had the idea to make an local receipt who was still baken at the times of Charlemagne: The "Printen" of Aachen were reborn and had so a success everywhere, and in all the world.- it's the legend of the city;
So try the Printen in Bakery Klein, - excellent.

I need to say that I love sweets and of course as well the one and only Printen from Aachen. One needs to try them in the various kinds they have, with choclate, without, with nuts, etc. The ones from KLEIN one says are the best ones in Acchen, while it is as well correct, that others are as well very good

This bakery offers the best Printen in the city. Most of the local people go here in Christmas time to buy them. There is the main bakery in the Franzstraße, which is a bit offside of the city, but you can pass by the bakery when you walk from the main train station to the city center and the cathedral. There are also some shops in the passenger area and they even sell Printen on the Christmas market in Cologne.

Purinten of Klein is a rustic flavor compared to Nobis and Van del Deale.
It does not look brilliant, but the good for daily snack.
They have brunch shop near the Dom.
