This nice house which stay "on river" is interesting to see. it's near to the harbor (15m) so you can easily see both. it's better to see from the second side(not from main way)

Saw picture of this building on the city attraction web site and managed to figure out where it was located (near the harbor). Pretty photogenic and since it was near other sights certainly worth spending a few minutes there.

This was typical of so many attractive builings in Wismar and was to be found near one of the principle gates to the city.

A place that (at least in my case) comes to mind first when I hear "Wismar". If you are visiting in summer, a nice place for a photo-shoot, as greenery and flowers in place make it picturesque.

Picturesque Little Building

This little house is actually called the Vault, and it spans the Grube (pit) on a double-arched bridge. The building is picturesque and has been deformed over the years since it was built in the 17th century. It has served a number of purposes, among them as a place to check the quality of wine coming into the town. The building has been restored so what you see is pretty much the way it was many years ago.It's a nice photo stop.
