This is an extensive stretch of beach with many great places to lay back and catch some rays. In summer, the Baltic Sea water is pretty chilly, but it is certainly warm enough for adventurous souls to venture into. My son spent an enjoyable afternoon...More

We stopped there on a cruise. Didn't take the option to go to Berlin so we walked along Warnemunde Beach. You have to go to the train station across the tracks over the bridge and turn left and walk along the promenade which takes you...More

The beach is huge, clean and quiet, with the traditional recliners that I have seen no where else before. The water is clean and gentle and there are first aid facilities and hires nearby too.

Fantastic beach and surprisingly not too crowded, so able to enjoy without too much hassle. Children were enchanted and could have happily played there all day. Unusually, they forgot all about their digital distractions for an hour or two. That says it all.

Of course the water is still cold even in the month of July but wonderful when the temperature is so hot. The beach was very crowded but in the water the seawater and waves are relaxing.

Great local history museum, in a fisherman's house dating back from 1767. Neo-Gothic church built 1886-1872. Great Lighthouse on the beach, pier with tons of restraunts, fish markets. Lots of shopping

The Town is in easy "strolling" distance from where the Cruise ship docked & is mainly flat walking 10 Min's (Google map the port, Ships dock near the railway station) You can access the Beach with equal ease. Hope you Love... More
