The Warnemunde harbor is blessed with 2 lighthouses at its entrance. This one has easy access to it and is part of a pedestrian walking district surrounded by shops and restaurants. Festive any summer day regardless of the weather.

There are 135 steps to the top of this 37 metre lighthouse, built 1897. Friendly guy encourages you to climb up. Good views from midway and from the top.

Walk down Alter Strom and as you reach the Baltic Sea there is a nice small town central square with a nice historic lighthouse. It is open to the public and for 2 euros you can walk up the roughly 100 feet to an observation deck. This lighthouse was built in 1898 and the white glazed bricks shine in the... More

The Lighthouse in Warnemunde is a historic icon. It is about 120 feet high and was built at the tail end of the 19th century. There is a staircase inside for those who are fit to climb the 135 steps to the top. The Lighthouse is next to a building called "The Teapot". The area around the Lighthouse is always... More

The view is the only reason to climb up the winding stairs for 2 euros. From up there, you can see the alstadt, the long promenade and the extensive beach. There is some information side about the lighthouse but only in german.

This is great exercise and the view from the top is the best. Rent a bike in town and ride here. Then ride down the strand.

This place is nice for a stroll around and sit outside and have a coffee. You can go to the top of the lighthouse which is more central to the town than on the seafront .not sure if there is an entrance fee as didn't go in.

There is a small entrance fee and over 120 steps in a very narrow circular staircase. Not recommended for anyone that has trouble walking or navigating around people. There are folks coming down the stairs while you are going up. It can be quite snug but worth the trek.
