Sweet walk with pretty views
Apr 2019
This is not a major attraction but, if you're in Warnemunde, it is certainly worth the time to walk along the pier to see the Standing Woman statue and the green beacon. We were there in April so it was too chilly for people to be out on the beach but it was lovely to just look out on the water

EASY WALK
May 2018 • Couples
This is an obvious excursion from the little suburb of Warnemunde with much of interest to see as the waterway is busy with leisure and comercial traffic. The yacht club were having a race when we walked out to the lighthouse to view the Baltic sea

Wonderful Easy Walk Along the Baltic Sea
May 2018 • Couples
We had a beautiful sunny day in early May and decided to explore Warnemunde instead of spending five hours on a train back & forth to Berlin. We were not disappointed to spend the afternoon in Warnemunde, especially along the Westmole. There is a nice paved walkway leading to a lookout area and you get very close to the green buoy marking the entrance to the harbor. You can also walk on the right fork of the Westmole and walk to the green buoy. Fabulous views of the harbor, canal, beach, and of course, the Baltic Sea. Lots of ships coming and going into Warnemunde. It's a great way to see where your cruise ship is docked and the amount of sea traffic that the port handles. A walk by the sea
Aug 2017 • Couples
We walked along the Mole in Warnemunde as part of a self-conducted guided walking tour of the town using a route map we picked up in a souvenir shop near to the cruise terminal. The mole takes the visitor away from the town and out towards the sea. Basically, it is a stretch of concrete protected from erosion by the sea by large boulders and alongside a wooden jetty for boats to tie up against.
On the day of our visit, the weather was warm and sunny and it was very pleasant to walk along here watching the gulls and passing shipping including a number of pleasure craft some of which seemed to be doing tourist trips out to sea.
We enjoy walking by the sea anyway, and found this part of our walking tour to be particularly enjoyable, and being away from the town, the area is quite peaceful.
We took some nice photos in the area particularly the gulls perched on the wooden jetty
