A delight to come across this lovely bronze sculpture by Wolfgang Friedrich in the street. Not one's normal spouting fountain, but a steady flow of water alongside the 'procession' of 19 bronze figures. Well worth looking out for.

This is actually a small piece of art, but it is very nice. It is also located on the most beautiful street in town, so there is a good chance to take a perfect picture. A must see attraction in Warnemunde.

This fountain is unique in that it’s not a spouting fountain. The fountain is linear and water runs alongside a procession of 19 bronze figures. The sculpture is based on an actual practice where citizens, dressed in their finery, walked together to the tax office to pay their taxes. They wanted to make it a happy event. We were told that this event still takes place in Warnemunde.

There are very nice sculptures all over the town. This one is nicely done, unique, and fun. There is a bench for a rest

Still practiced today, this fountain depicts the townspeople making a pilgrimage to pay their taxes. Not fun for anyone, the townsfolk decided since it was an inevitability they might as well make the most of it and do it up. We saw this on our walking tour and it was delightful.

A grand sculpture of a procession of people. It also has a water feature so it makes it come alive with the flow of water. Very good

We read the reviews on here before visiting and found it easily.
Attractive and a little unusual sculpture and water feature, just a little difficult to photograph as not all figures face the same direction.
We had been walking for a time and had a short rest on a one of the benches.
Alexandrinenstrasse is a pretty little street in itself and is easy to find as it runs parallel to Am Strom.

You have to go to the back streets to see this bronze piece depicting the new mayor of the city. Worth while a visit and to read the history.

This is something special. Did not know about it, was just walking along the street and noticed this fine sculture with water. Could not take my eyes off of it. Very original! There are also some benches around it, so you can just sit and enjoy a small break.
