This trip was all about my boyfriend and his love off all things VW- especially Golfs. However, I am writing this review as person who is not really a big car enthusiast.
All that said...I LOVED this museum!
Don't underestimate the time you may want...More
My friend and I stopped by here. The museum displays Volkswagens from every era. Although, they do not have a display for Volkswagens currently available for purchase.
On display is just about every year Beetle ever manufactured at the Wolfsburg plant. Many experimental cars are...More
You pay six euros for a short stop. Very nice show room with concept cars, oldtimer cars and some tuning cars. We'd love to sit in one or two to get the feeling of the car. But obviously it's not permitted to save the cars....More
The Volkwagen auto Museum is located in Wolfsburg city that you can access by train from Berlin central station and takes around little more than one hour to get there.
The museum doesn’t have a really high tech or modern structure, but it was fun...More
Cheap entry to a nicely laid out museum with a relatively large collection of old and unusual Volkswagens. If you're big into Volkswagens then I'm sure you could spend hours reading all the info on the pack provided upon entry. If you just want a...More
This visit was on my bucketlist. It is a nice, not that large museum with a lot of volkswagen models to see.

It seems that...More
Arrived just after opening so we were able to look round and take photos before it got busy. Great museum full with some amazing Volkswagen model's from the early years. We sent a couple of hours here but could easily have spent longer. Great little...More
My husband was enthralled by the vast amount of cars to view here on our visit so we spent a couple of hours here reminiscing about quite a few he’d had himself at some stage in his lifetime so far. Well worth an afternoon out.
I visited the Autostadt last year. The famous Abbey Road VW Beetle wasn't there at that time. If it was purchased by Autostadt as indicated in the LMW281F's Wikipedia page, then it must have been transferred to another... More
I visited the Autostadt last year. The famous Abbey Road VW Beetle wasn't there at that time. If it was purchased by Autostadt as indicated in the LMW281F's Wikipedia page, then it must have been transferred to another display site or pulled out from the display. I also visited the VW Auto Musuem nearby; I also don't recall seeing it there.
Perhaps you can inquire with Autostadt to confirm if it is on display or not.
I hope this was helpful.
