Another Church
Aug 2021
My daughter does castles and churches. Anytime you can freely wonder a church of this vintage it's worth it. Smaller on the inside than other around, it is still beautiful.

The churches great but if you are there on Sat by chance, be careful when you buy groceries in front of the church!
May 2020
The church was beautiful and unique. It was all made of red bricks. We were here on Saturday so there was a weekend grocery market which the nearby famers sell their products. I bought 1 small box of cherries, 1/4 water melon and 8 peaches+ a few peppers. And when I asked how much I should pay, the owner said, it's 30 euros! which is almost double as I bought them in supermarket. I am not sure the owner was dishonest about the price or not, but make sure that you should ask the price first when you want to buy them! Even in Germany, there are lots of types of people!

Take a red brick midwestern Lutheran Church and multiply by 6
Sep 2019
It is that big and grand with all those spires. Imposing in the center city and dominates the skyline. Interior is pretty plain. Opens at 2pm weekdays, so not a morning activity.

Historic church on the market square
Jun 2019
The Lutheran Market Church in Weisbaden was dedicated 13 November 1862; it is in the Neo-Gothic with style brick faced quarry stone walls, with terra cotta being used as architectural ceramic construction material. It is based upon the Werder Church in Berlin. I visited the church twice, so I could attend the the "Organ Music" held year round on Saturday mornings. It is followed by a "Carillon Concert" which are held April till November.

Dignified church by the market square
Dec 2018 • Couples
This church has a different atmosphere from many, perhaps because of the 'meeting-like' seating. Worth a visit in its own right, and as a change if you are there for the Christmas market

Magical light on the church
Nov 2018 • Friends
Somehow, this church always looks illuminated by the sun even is there is none shining...the architecture if beautiful and impressing from the outside...the building is really massive...and if you go in, you will find the "light" there too...

Special seatings
Aug 2018 • Friends
Curious to see how the searing set up is made, al in a kind of half circle, even a first floorstage where you can sit. You only have to find the entrance because front or back entrance is possible.

Unique style in Europe
Aug 2018 • Friends
I have never seen a church in Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece or indeed any where else in Europe; very unique. Unfortunately it is only open from 10:00-14:00, so didn't visited inside. Still not to be missed!!
