This place had a great natural type playground with tree trunks piled on top of each other, huge swing set for two, walking stilts, and other fun balancing equipment. The kids (7 and 3) loved it. The building houses interesting science and musical experimentation exhibits on all 3 floors. Both boys loved it. It had a hippie vibe, and your... More

Went to Schloss Freudenberg today in Wiesbaden (dotzheim). It's a sensory museum. Had a ton of fun! They have a guide book in English and took extra special care of us. Went thru an obstacle course (our fave) and ordered drinks from a bar in total darkness. Lots of musical instruments and different activities for all ages inside and outside.... More

I went to the schloss with a group of teenagers and they had real fun. The place is full of hands on activities and motosensorial experiences explained by a guide who spoke English. We had free time at the backyard and we were offered pizza slices for 1€. You can celebrate family events at that place if you hire it... More

For Kids, adults and elderly: this museum of the senses is phascinating for anybody visiting this. The cocept is to experience your senses; being smell, sound, colors, waves, touching textures, seeing and more. For each sense there are several experiences to explore and realy nice and exploratory explanations to understand why this is and even information on the physics behind,... More

A sensory museum like no other. We had a company team building event at the museum recently and I felt like a child walking into wonderland, wide eyed and in awe of almost everything I saw (and didn't see) and experienced. Really true to the adage that you're never too old too learn. I would really describe this experience in... More

This old chateau is a must for everybody who like nature and everything testing your senses. There are many interactive offers to play and challenge your senses. The outdoor area is really great and it´s a fantastic place to be explored by children. Test it!

Unexpected summer rains required us to adjust our plans while visiting friends in Wiesbaden. Friends brought us here. What a treat! The children loved the indoor and outdoor activities. Balancing on wooden tops, a large two person swing contraption, cooking out of doors bread on a stick over an open fire...and more. Inside the partially run down castle rooms filled... More

Whenever we have visitors, my daughter wants to bring them here. It's all in German, but as it is a museum of doing rather than reading, you can watch other people and figure out what's going on. They will also do tours in English for kid groups. It's a museum of the senses, and is a lot of fun. It's... More
