A very beautiful place, full of history. Full of tourists, enjoying the superb panorama over the Rhine. We spent a few hours in the area, including the nearby restaurant. It's definitely worth it!

You take a lift on a small cable car and the view is amazing. The fare is cheap. Once on to the top just walk around and take pictures! Visit the Germania Monument. Unfortunately no much information in English or any other language.

We took the' romantic ticket' which gave you between 5 to 7 hours to discover this attraction and then take the cable backdown to Assenhausen on the other side of the hill. Great views from the top of the Rheine valley. Very interesting walks.
