It is a natural area where families, especially with small children, can spend a pleasant and long time and where many animals can be observed alive. Don't forget to visit the stuffed animals in the Gerhard Schulz House.
If the entrance fee (8€) is reduced a little, the number of visitors will increase even more. It would also be good to have signs to show visitors where they are.

Everything is just right here. A beautiful zoo with many animals, you even get a discount here for seniors. We have seen wolves, lynx, red and fallow deer, otters and many other animals. Food and drink are also provided. Above all you can walk here very nicely the paths are very wide and you can look at the animals wonderfully.

Third time myself and my Daughter (8) have visited this Wild Park.
Really nice to go to take in the peaceful and tranquil surroundings with the added bonus of animals to look at and interact with.
Incredibly good value for entry costs , the food inside is burgers , chips , chicken nuggets etc etc , not too expensive although they are not the best, Much better taking a picnic as there are loads of tables and chairs dotted around the huge park.
Favourite part is a cut through the trees that is gated off but accessible in here you can find the dear roaming around and with some patients you can feed them by hand ith the feed purchased form the ticket booth. Requires caution with younger children as the dears are easily spooked.
Couple of park type areas with climbing ropes , but better for the peace , walk tranquillity and discovering what animals you will come to next.
All in all my Daughter loves coming here and to be honest I do too.

Spacious complex with large, natural animal enclosures. What is great for the animals is sometimes just frustrating for the visitors. You can see empty otter enclosures, empty fox enclosures, empty wildcat enclosures, empty badger enclosures, empty elk enclosures, empty lynx enclosures, and some apparently orphaned enclosures more. In fact, however, the animals are more likely to have retreated to their resting areas or other corners of their enclosures. This leaves a beautiful walk in the woods with a view of few animals.
Only the wild boar enclosures are actually empty due to the current swine flu. However, this also eliminates the main customers for the animal feed sold at the cash register. It's too bad.

There is virtually no wildlife in this wildlife park. We walked almost 3 hours through the extensive grounds and saw a single deer besides a donkey at the entrance. The animals are also very shy. You don't need to buy any food at all at the entrance to feed that you then take home. For so much advertising being done on the highway with a sign and everywhere it is really very disappointing. We have been to a lot of wildlife parks this is by far the worst that does not deserve the name at all.

Well worse a visit, has a good variety of european wildlife, including polar wolfs.

The setting is in a wood so not like a zoo, the down part the animals can hide, which the lynx like to do, all other animals are easy to spot.

It's a nice place to visit with children, often they have special offers for them like campfires or howling with the wolfs, it's also very close to the A3 Frankfurt-Wuerzburg which makes it easy to reach by car, parking is provided and free.

I visit the Fasanerie with friends and family each year at different times of the year. We always enjoy the promenade to see the animals which are well known , goats , wild boar , sheep and exotic , lynx , wolves , owls , deer , bison......in vast open space within the forest at the Western edge of Hanau. There is a learning space which is interactive. In the summer , there are drinks and ice cream to rehydrate thirsty visitors. There is an adventure park for the younger members of the family . The service is smiling but discrete and the price is low - the children can also feed the goats and sheep. Highly recommended for visitors to the region.

This is a nice place to spend a few hours just enjoying what comes natural, enjoying nature. Plenty of room to move about. Lots of variety in the animals.

This is one of the best wildlife centers I have ever visited. There are very large enclosures in interesting designs. The animals are noticeably content in their green and leafy environment. They were active and alert. The coats of the wild cats, for example, were shiny and lush. While not comprehensive in the variety of species, the quality of the enclosures made it exceptional. Some of the species includes buffalo, elk, wild cats, wild pigs, tree climbing raccoons, and an extensive bird collection. The park like setting in a wooded area adds to the enjoyment. Refreshments are available. A great place to spend a day in the outdoors.

One can make a nice walk in a quite large forest among animals. Worth to remember two things: 1) This is a wild park and not a zoo. 2) Animals aren't museum subjects on permanent display: they come and go as they like and may not be visible all the time. But don't worry, you'll see quite some. The highlight of wald is probably the feeding of lynx and wolves at 14:30 on weekends.
