I was expecting to see a lot of German crafts for sale, however it was mainly food, food and more food. However the train service was excellent, reasonably priced and very regular.

There will be New Year fireworks on the River Main, best seen from the Opera House, bridges or the south bank of the river. Plus parties in most major hotels.
