We went to Frankfurt just after my German exam and we went here in the hope it could bring me luck. The monument in itself is nothing special but it will remain in my memories as I passed my exam.

Nice plaza place. Nice monument . Good cafes nearby. The plaza is calm on weekdays and nice place to hangout. Apart from monument there is nothing much here to see

This is a nice tribute to possibly the most famous child of Frankfurt and is located in one of the square where often events take place.

It was just a statue situated in a square. When you walked pass, you can take a photo with it. A poet which you knew the history of him.
For majority of tourists, you might not know like me.

This is a bronze statue of Goethe built in the 19th century. It looks relatively normal.
The surrounding square is a lively area and has lots of shops

This favorite son of Frankfort has a huge statue. It is prominently displayed and I would not go out of my way to see it. Nice to wave at as you go to the train station.

The most famous son of Frankfurt stands tall and in bronze in the center of the city. Stroll the shops and take a rest in one of the street cafes.

The bronze statue of the famous author stands on a rectangular pedestal in a plaza also named after him. The author is depicted standing in a relaxed pose. The pedestal stands on a three tiered rectangular base. The sides of the pedestal depict allegorical scenes.
The plaza also has a fountain and the monument of the grey busses which were used to transport patients to the death camps.
Worth a short stop.
