Everything you look for in a walking tour

We took the Old Town walking tour with Stefan and enjoyed every minute. We have taken free tours in many cities and this was one of the best. The tour guide was knowledgeable and his passion for the city came across and kept us engaged for 2.5 hours.

Interesting, surprising and friendly

I highly recommend the tour, it allows you to discover the city and the monuments with their history. The guide gives you also some tips to visit Frankfurt differently (looking for the hidden Spiderman statues across the city or the cats on the roofs). We really enjoyed it.

Great tour with Jana!

The 10am tour was such a great way to learn about and explore Frankfurt! Jana was generous to offer the tour even when I was initially the only person who showed. The quality of the tour is excellent incorporating pertinent historical facts and visual guides, and Jana also added her own tips on what to do in the city. Highly recommend!

Frankfurt Walking Tour is Great Experience! A Must do! :)

It was a WONDERFUL tour!! A friend and I decided to take the 10AM Classic Tour. It was led by Louis who did a FANTASTIC job! He had a wealth of knowledge and you could tell he really enjoyed leading the tours and is proud of his home city. I live in Wiesbaden and am going to return to do the other tours as soon as I can!! Thank you Louis for an awesome experience.! :)

Very interesting and professional historical tour!

We were really impressed by the quality of the tour! We are history buffs in general, and the history (and present) of Frankfurt was presented by our guide in a very interesting and knowledgeable way. Our compliments to Stefan! The tour lasted almost 3 hours and gave a very good overview of Frankfurt. We love taking walking tours, have done almost 60 of them already, and I will remember our Frankfurt tour as top notch. Very recommended!

Fantastic Tour

I just finished a tour lead by Thomas, a native Frankfurter who has travelled the world and is multi-lingual. Thomas gave a fantastic tour. I’ve taken a few free walking tours in other countries and some focused on the nightlife and bar scene or didn’t provide a good overview of the cities history. This is a legit tour - covering history, a bit of religion, modern day culture, economic history , and of course the food and wine! Thomas delivered all this with humor and seriousness at the right times. I “paid” more for this tour than some of the other 1-2 hour walking tour advertised because I thought it was really good.

A must do if you are in Frankfurt!

I did the classic tour from 10-12 AM with Tom - a funny and smart guy with almost perfect English skills. I did not only learn a lot about Frankfurts architecture and history but I also felt very much entertained by Toms jokes and anecdotes. I see Frankfurt now with completely different eyes. Toms enthusiasm makes it easy to love this city. Thank you very much Tom!

Worth braving the raining weather

Our guide gave a fantastic tour. I think his name was Tom (young, witty, college guy) He was funny and interesting and very knowledgeable. He had us laughing throughout and gave us a deep appreciation for his city and culture.

Highly recommend!

Must do when in Frankfurt!

Booked this tour for a rainy Sunday afternoon. Due to COVID, the only tour operating was the center city tour around Romerberg. Our guide, Louis, was great! Knowledgeable about Frankfurt's history as he was born and raised here. Showed us some interesting sights within a small area around Romer like the free archeological museum. Tour lasted 2 hours.

History of the buildings around the Romerberg. Insightful and interesting

Louis was knowledgeable and helpful. He gave a lot of history on Frankfurt and on Germany. The route is only around the Romerberg area. It would be helpful if the exact location on where to meet was stated clearly on the confirmation email. Romerberg 11 can’t be found on site and a photo will be helpful.
