We visited this church as we heard of its beautiful architecture. Yet it seemed out of place, not really in a nice neighbourhood, and there was not really the ability to go in it. We just walked a circle around it and left again

This is a very huge historical Gothic church located next to the Main River. The stained glass window inside is very beautiful. It is not a very marvelous church but worth a visit if you have some spare time.

There are a lot of gothic churches to see in Frankfurt and this is one the largest and most interesting. Lots of interesting artefacts and stained glass. Free to visit and good spot to see.

This was a quiet and peaceful church on the South Side of the River Main. It was interesting to take a look, but pretty basic and unremarkable. Don't go out of your way to see it. There's been a church there since 1340, but the...More

The grounds are a bit unkept. Inside I found and entirely empty chapel with a bit of an eerie feeling. I'm sure it's less eerie during services, but empty the place is dark and quiet. There's a smell of wood in the air. Maybe a...More

The man at the door of the church told us this church was spared bombing during WW2 because of it's close proximity to a hospital with huge red cross on it's roof. Inside the church is German Grim but shelters a magnificent pipe organ.

We were late so didn't get to go inside, but it was beautiful and peaceful from the outside, with a nice sitting area to look upon the church entrance.
