What a wonderful experience. This is the only building left standing in 1945 the didn’t get flattened by the bombing and the food is as authentic as it gets.

Food was great, we took schnitzels. It was traditional and surprisingly calm to eat outside though it seemed to be hectic. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable.

Very busy on a Sunday afternoon ( maybe due to location? ). Only 1 staff but coping well. Took their signature pork knukle but quality is at best average. There must be better establishment near by?

If you come by to check out the only half wood building that survive the WW2 bombing you may be disappointed. However if you also plan to check out the traditional restaurant service German specialty then perhaps it makes sense after all.
