The museum is poor. Tickets are very expensive, and please, don't buy audio guide it does not work properly. Don't recommend at all.

Yes, the museum is big and you need at least 3 hours to see everything, but the settings are all mixed up without any order! What also pissed me off is that the price is pretty high - 8 €, but under no circumstances will...More

Very interesting museum with so much potential. The downside? The staff. Very impatient and inconsiderate. Our class was doing an excellent job of being quiet and respectful and got loudly shouted at for standing between a pillar. No first warning, just a rude and inappropriate...More

You don’t get much more interactive than this museum. There are videos and audio, things to slide, buttons to push, layers to reveal. The museum brings Frankfurt and its people to life with photos, art, belongings and personal narratives. It’s a totally engaging experience. It...More

This is a traditional museum with excellent exhibitions. A Georgian (Europe not USA) exhibition was on, which was interesting and fascinating, and was worth the small additional charge. There is access to an old church building showing a wide range of archaeological finds from many...More

This is truly a place to learn about Frankfurt's history. There's a bit about Jewish history, early history, monarchy, wars, finance (if you're into coins, this is the place to be), religious arts, and more. My suggestion to navigate the floor is to browse around...More

Went with three girls (6,6,9). Had a good time exploring the collection using the family booklet. Pity the cards didn’t stick into the activity book. Great ‘shop’ space in the kids zone.
