in one of the lovely hotels or gasthauses, it i well worth it and walk through the old town. Hotel zum Ritter, is in the middle of it all. Make sure you get a room to the rear if you want to get sleep, specially on a weekend. All the activity is right below your window. Das Gemahlte Haus ,... More

Great places to visit if you want to eat and drink. loads of bars to choose from, pub type places with sky TV to old apple wine houses. Apple wine is like cider which comes from the Frankfurt area. Sachsenhaus is on the south of the river Main, well worth a walk around.

Narrow cobbled streets, old-world charm and pubs with traditional apple wine...what is not to love?! Definitely worth visiting if you are in Frankfurt and while there, don't forget to taste the apple wine!

plenty of locales within walking distance of where you are. Many options for having a few drinks with friends. Just across the river from Downtown. Still quant old feeling despite the complete destruction of the city during WW11.

Our visit to Sachsenhausen was very unplanned but completely breathtaking and worth the train journey out of the city It is possibly the most moving experience I have ever experienced and completely made our weekend trip. I felt it was not the right place to be taking photos (hence non uploaded). If I had longer I would have spent the... More

this part of the city was different from the main part of it. This is kinda hipster, full of bars and pubs, lively and has drive, old streets and buildings are worth to see. Nice place

My friend and I headed to Sachsenhausen for an early dinner and could see the area slowly coming to life. The area is full of restaurants and cobblestone streets. It is great place to wander around and maybe a grab a bite.
