Centrally located at the Frankfurt shopping centre, the Hauptwache. Easy to reach to. They always have candles at the entrance if you wnat to say a quick prayer and leave, you light the candle and say your prayer. Very welcoming and totally worth a visit.

The church has a light, airy interior with some nice stained glass. At regular intervals during the week there are free organ recitals in the afternoon, lasting about half an hour.

This 17th century church was rebuilt after WWII bombing. The largest of the Lutheran churches the city, it is a tranquil respite in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the area. Free lunch time concerts are offered.

I attended the Easter Service + communion and realized that we have only been in the USA for a few years. This old church is pre-dating the discovery of America by many centuries.

Beautiful church in the outside. Worth the visit once. Big and majestic inside and very quiet and peaceful. It's right in the middle of the city. Wished there was descriptions in English.

This beautiful and historic church is the Largest Lutheran church in Frankfurt and is named in honor of the early Christian saint, Catherine of Alexandria. It is located in the center of Frankfurt and is well worth visiting. Photographs are permitted in its interior.

Nice surprise and a good experience. I had tried to look into a couple of other churches, all closed being a Monday (or is it other days as well?).
This one was not only open; there were people there for a quiet moment, not only tourists like me. And then this fantastic organ music, that somebody played for a long while. Fabulous atmosphere to escape from the city's rush.
