Nice family trip. Lots of botanical exhibits both under glass as well as in the open. If it rains, then just stay indoors.

Walking the gardens for 3 hours was beautiful and a great way to kill jet lag. I am so glad I chose to stay near the garden so I could spend the afternoon there before heading down to the river. It was a hot day but I would come even if it were raining. They have huge greenhouses to explore... More

We went here to kill a few hours before our flight out of Frankfurt. I wish we had more than 1 hour to tour the gardens. We went to the restaurant to eat which really took a long time. After seeing everything else in Frankfurt this was a relaxing way to spend a few hours. Quiet. Easy parking on the... More

I have no special interest for plants, but I still really liked it, because I cound see plants from all over the world in only just few hours. It is amazing how diverse our planet is! It is the best in spring, when most plants are blooming. The cafe/conditorei Siesmeyer has lots of delicious cakes, that you can enjoy at... More

It is a good place where you need to have enough time to enjoy. No place for hurried visit. Connected to metro and bus

Informative and relaxing garden and park in the middle of the city. Occasionally there happens various cultural events like theatre fest in the park near the garden.

We spent a couple of hours walking around the botanical garden, admiring the various plants and flowers on a sunny Sunday in August. I've never seen so many different cactus and palm plants. There was a nice pond with rowing and paddling boats, as well as a tiny train that runs from one end of the garden to the other... More

We enjoyed ur visit to this attraction. Lots to see with a number of greenhouses open to the public. Outdoor exhibits cover a lot of the world's flora, really interesting. One criticism is that there is very little in any language other than German. It would have been nice to have been able to do at least some plant identification... More

This was a special place, easy to find and excellent value (€7 but we got in for half that using the Frankfurt Touristkarten). The gardens are big with a very wide variety of plants from tropical species in large angular glass houses (reminiscent of the Eden Project in Cornwall though these structures are not domes), to dahlias, roses, rockery plants...
