You can buy this online before you go. Just print the ticket and you're good to go when you arrive. The two day card for 15.5 euros gives you 2 return journeys from the airport (usually 4.90 each), unlimited journeys by bus, tram, U Bahn and S Bahn and decent reductions on many museum entry fees. Note that the validity of the ticket is until 5am each way - and all the trains run all night. Great transport system, Frankfurt

Very well located, in the Romer Square, was very convenient. It has a good number of leaflets to read, and also a small shop. However, the lady in the counter was not very helpful and quite unfriendly, and refuse to give us some information about how to move around the city, as well any other option to do in the remaining days around Frankfurt. Maybe it was because she was working in bank holidays and not in the mood...

They gave us great information on city walks. But we're not informed about local bike rental companies. Very little information about the city.

This location would normally have been a good spot for purchasing souvenirs, maps, suggestions for things to see/do and information on what’s going on in the city. There was a young girl working there on my visit and she was very helpful as she had to look up a few places I was looking for on her computer. I made sure there was no one else waiting to be assisted as I asked her some more detailed questions which she in turn had to ask one of her older colleagues to assist. This is when the older colleague basically told me to buy a more detailed map and at this point she did not show any interest in assisting me. As I already mentioned, I made sure no one else was inside or inside and needing assistance, but the older female was not very patient and almost to the point of being rude.

So, I gathered my purchased map and continued on my journey.

Recently someone told me that the Frankfurt tourist information office is owned by a private company which might explain why the information is so poor, e.g. they only want to sell you something that makes money for the company as oppose to promoting everything the city has to offer. As a local I've been in several times with visitors and every time the story was the same - poor information, a lack of knowledge about what is going on in the city, and they also charge for maps!
You're better off going on-line to get information about Frankfurt.

The Frankfurt Card is good if you buy it at the airport and start using it from the airport.
I bought it at Tripadvisor and had to take the ticket at the train station. It meant that I had to pay an extra of €4.95 from the airport to the Hbf train station. Afterwards I realized that I could have bought it in other site that allow to print the ticket at home.
Best regards,
Teresa

The tourist information office was very helpful and run the Frankfurt city card which was great value for money compared to other city cards.
They also ran two tours that we went on - a Christmas markets tour and a Frankfurt city tour (not a bus tour).

The Christmas markets tour was great. Our guide was knowledgeable and coloured the picture with little personal stories. He spoke very well in English (and I assume in German as well!). We got to sample some lovely (free) food from various Christmas market stalls - delicious almonds, marzipan and Gluhwein, the total of which added up to more than the cost of the tour, which made it well worthwhile. He also took us up to the top of Nikolaikirche which had a great view of the Christmas markets over Römer place.

The other tour that we went on was a Frankfurt city walking tour. This was with an interesting guide who showed us some of Frankfurt city's major sights and made it a more interesting city than just banking or finance. A trip up the Maine tower is included in this tour which was a good way to end it. This was not quite as good as the Christmas markets tour but still very enjoyable.

I can't find their tours on this site.

worst card ever. i bought it today 2/8/2022 and i just waste my money. My family 2 adults and 2 kinds up to 15, we did not manage to take even 1 euro from this card as a discount. Because at all attractions we tried to use it the family ticket was in better price than the discount from the card. We tried to use it at Zoo, nothing, at Main Tower nothing, at night cruise nothing. Only for transportation but as the ticket for 1 month is just 9 euro, the card is also not worth.

If you're there for one day only, the Frankfurt card is extremely beneficial as it includes Airport transportation, unlimited rides of Frankfurt city public transit and discounts on some attractions upto 50%. check their website site.

We were 5 min late for the tour today. We were trying to call number from the ticket to let let them know, but line was too busy. We came to Tourist office were grumpy lady with orange hair was scolding us for being so late. She went to ''help'' us to find the group but only took us behind the building and said she can't do anything to help us. She told us that guide apparently is not allowed to have a phone with him during the tour. Waste of money.
