This is a very busy station with lots of shopping anfd food outlets but it was very intimidating. We were approached on a number of occasions in the short time we were there by beggars and suspicious characters. We were glad to get out.

This was my second trip to Frankfort. Without too much difficulty I was able to get the ticket I need and find the right platform for my trains.

From here you can pretty much reach anywhere in Europe. The lay out is well thought out. Even for a non German speaker, it's hard to get yourself lost. If you do you will have a bad day. Trains keep time so when you loose...More

It is a very big trainstation, but still easy enough to get around and find out which train to take and when. There are different places to eat and find something to drink. Dont worry about taking the train anywhere.

Upon exiting the station turn left along Mannheimer Str, cross over Beseler Str to Am Hauptbanohf, cross that street and turn right onto Weisenhüttenplatz and go straight for a block. Don't know how far south is the hotel... More
Does this main station have lockers or storage service large enough for a roller skiing bag? Figure like 80" tall by 16" wide and skinny. I know there are plenty of lockers but I'm wondering specifically in regards to a larger elongated bag as the one I'll be carrying? Thanks and happy holidays.

You're right, lots of lockers. However, I'm not sure about the size you require. Happy Holidays!
Are there lockers available to rent for storing a suitcase? If so, do you know the size and cost?

I don't remember seeing lockers, but I wasn't looking for any. I know several stations throughout Europe do have luggage lockers at train stations.
