Situated near the river as you enter/exit the main market square this establishment is the closest thing you’ll get to the perfect traditional German pub. As a group supporting England we spent two days at this comfortable pub & seemed to be the only ones drinking out of Pint glasses as opposed to plastic ones. The food was lovely and the waitress service was fantastic. I would highly recommend.

Big busy station. Lots of food shops to choose from German trains are usually delayed :( Lots of bars and restaurants near by. Trains are free 90% of the time lol

Everything worked like clockwork, departure boards, signs, etc. I took advantage of the left luggage lockers. The S-bahn is treated as part of the main station, some S-bahn trains leave from the normal platforms and for some you follow the signs to extra platforms below.

Quite a large station, with a few levels. The bottom level with the local trains can really get congested. Signage is good though, and it’s easy to find what platform you need. I’d highly recommend downloading the DB app. There are some mentally ill/addicts/homeless people about, but they typically just look for empty cans and bottles.

Busy station which accommodates both subway & suburban trains. We took the train to Heidelberg and utilised the automated ticket machines which provided us with frequency of trains departing/ arriving both stations. Signposting and support by way of information is good. There are a myriad of food and beverage outlets as well as other retail outlets.
