It is just a train station. There is a tourist information counter which is useful for booking HoHo busses etc. Plenty of fast food and a few "sit down" cafes where you can get good coffee. Our experience was ruined by bad service by DB....More

This vast train station is one of Germany‘s great ones. The hustle and bustle is always entertaining. The food court comes in handy. There is the superb Lebanon Restaurant just around the corner. The little shops are useful to the traveler. Slow down a bit...More

A huge building for sure which is a very busy one with passengers all the time. It's systematic and organized. The place is convenient for anybody though it tend to be a bit crowded when the rush hour sets in.

Yes it is huge but easy to navigate and easy to find the right platform and right train even for first time visitors to Frankfurt as we were. There are cafés and shops inside, easy to understand ticket machines and of course the trains run...More

The mainline station in Frankfurt dates back to 1888 and was later extended so that there are now five parallel halls above ground for international trains and there are regional platforms below ground, which lines S8 and 9 connecting to the airport. It is frustrating...More

Train stations are usually far from clean, but this reminded me on below-average east-european experiences. Overpriced luggage lockers. The food bars are placed very close to the dirty track areas. No seating or proper waiting rooms. Compared to smaller stations in Austria or in Bavaria,...More

The DB or ICE trains are all very good for intercity or regional connections. Ensure you also book a seat as well for first/business class as you may not have one if you just 'wing it' in peak times. Service is variable in... More
