The Museum für Moderne Kunst (MMK) is a "Museum for modern Art". The MMK is not one Museum, actually it is separated in 3 Musuems. So they are called MMK1, MMK2, MMK3. You have to pay entry for each of them 8 Euro. If you take a a combining ticket, it will cost 16 euro. What you get is...well.... something... More

Well worth the €12 ticket price. Very interesting displays and great building only spoilt by one rude museum lady demanding that no photos to be taken. Apart from her every thing else good. Didn't dare take photo of her but just her scarf where she sat... she was away shouting at someone else. Teach her some manners please

Worth going to as this modern building, localy called the "slice of cake" is interesting. The architetture is unusual. As for the exhibits, they are always interesting to look at.

Much of this artwork was dark and depressing. They were rather rude in kicking us out a few minutes before closing and would not even let us use the bathroom on the way out. Also were highly suspicious of me taking photos when I was simply checking my phone. Interesting art but dark.

This was a great rainy day activity. It was nice to check out the variety of artist's work from the wow factor to what is that about thoughts. It is truly a wonderful space and they did a great job exhibiting the range of art. Allow at least 1 hour. We were there at the end of the day so... More

Went with a group of friends and enjoyed the variety of exhibits in 2 buildings. I usually don't enjoy typical modern art exhibits but this museum offered so many varieties of media, spaces, ideas and perspectives. Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon visit.

This is a very interesting building housing a great collection. Their temporary exhibits are fantastic and I stop in every time I visit. If you buy a museum's day pass in Frankfurt, it's great value. Do visit the cafe for lovely cake and coffee.
