MOMA Frankfurt

Wonderful display of modern art in a city you wouldn't expect to have a good modern art museum. I was glad I visited and recommend it.

I quite like visiting Modern Art Galleries as I find them hilarious as to what people classify as art !! This one had a few interesting installations and what I really liked is that a lot were interactive and you could touch them and take photos. What I didn't like was the price €12 for such a small space and... More

An enjoyable museum on a day trip to Frankfurt. Take your time as the museum isn't very large, but three floors of thought-provoking pieces. If you're a student, take your ID and you'll get in for half price!

The exhibition is nice, but i liked the museums interior more than the installations inside. As for me 12 euros are too high price for that, some installations are too simple and nothing about, they cause no emotional relation, that's sad. Anyway, if you like modern art you'd better visit this place, because this is all about your personal individual... More

One of the most interesting things about this museum is the building itself. The dynamic interior is nicely designed for displaying modern art, especially larger installations. The various galleries were all well lit. Something I appreciate when viewing art. The collection is made up of paintings, sculpture, photography and more. For me, the work was a mixed bag. Some of... This is a worth while visit. The Art work is amazing and there is something for everyone to enjoy. It was very enjoyable for a rainy or cold day.

The title of this review is American slang for "not special" or "I am not impressed." The art was only average, although of course exhibits change. But there were no standout pieces or installations. There is an elevator for the handicapped. Stairs, for the rest of us, are very steep between floors. No air conditioning, no cafe. No gift shop-... More

Having purchased the museum card, we got in here "free" - and that's one of the main reasons we tend to buy such cards - it allows us to stay for 5 minutes or several hours without feeling that we've wasted money. Any visit to a museum of "modern art" is a lottery, we've been to some that were barely... More

From outside building looks a little bit modern, but nothing spectacular. When we visited there was quite a lot of interactive "art" so kid was happy to run and climb.

No.1 is best, really good exhibition when I was there. No.3 across the road was disappointing but as you're so near you may as well call in. No.2 was all fashion when I went. Hopefully it changes. But nice cafe there.
