The architecture of this place is mad, almost Escher-esque with the stairs at all angles. Loved the building but the exhibition at the time (Cady Noland) wasn't great. However, it's wrong to judge on the exhibition at the time as this regularly changes.

I felt relaxed when I stay at MMK and appreciate arts. The building is well structures for modern art. It’s white and spacious. Exhibition depends on what they bring. I loved the exhibition I watched. It was well matched with Modern art.

The museum is located not far from the old town square so should be pretty easy to find. I will admit that the exhibition on display when we visted went straight over my head. But that is purely on me and not the museum, it...More

Normally I love a modern art museum but I was not impressed by the collections and the time of writing - aware that these change. Not much to look at considering the costs of the tickets - the main art museum has a better selection...More

Really neat building, modern, white, weird layout--we even discovered art hidden in alcoves with very narrow entrances. When we visited, the exhibit was the sort with large-format or found-object pieces, just a few to each large room with no explanation: A framed item on one...More

The collection, current installations, and architecture is well-worth the visit. There’s MMK 1,2,3. I didn’t get to see 2, but 3 was barely a museum, more like a small gallery.

During our visit, they have the Extreme:Nomads... exhibition. We were not happy at all after the tour. Most of the installations are disturbing for kids which they didn't enjoy and were not allowed to see. However, from an artist point of view, might be great...More

We apologize for the inconvenience, we will advice our staff. Infront of one of the installations in the exhibition there is an information regarding the disturbing content. Nevertheless we hope to see you soon for another visit!
