The way the museum presents is very interesting and not tiring

Prepare couple of hours if you plan in detailed visiting museum. There is staff in site that can give you nice tour tips and tell you about history of exhibition. It is great place for anyone that wants to know more about history of communication and there are lot of interactive thinga in museum. Highly recommended.

My experience in the Museum für Kommunikation Frankfurt with Erasmus+
Nov 2019 • Friends
This museum is a combination of old and new, showing the evolution of communication over the years. I spent a few hours there and I couldn't take my eyes off the extremely interesting sculptures and facts that were presented there. It's a must see if you ever find yourself in Frankfurt!

No non German credit cards accepted!!!!

Are you kidding me? A museum requesting for cash due to me not having a German credit card. Are you running a museum or a roadside restaurant. Ohh by the way, even food trucks now accept all cards!!!! A great museum with stupid policies, I guess.

Best Museum I have ever been too!
Aug 2019
If you are a scholar of Communication, this is the place to go. It is so fascinating. There is so much to see, and the history component is amazing. I could have spent multiple days there.

Fascinating!

This museum really took me by surprise. I went primarily to take photos of the building but the main exhibit is so good.

We spent almost two hours wandering about mainly the main exhibit. Starts off with early day communication and entertainment and progresses through the years.

So many interactive exhibits, working phones, telex machines that go off at random. Old phones, old computers mind you maybe seeing your old phone now in a museum is a bit of a 'your old's slap in the face.

Most of the exhibits have English text.

Full exhibit is wheelchair friendly and at a height where visable. Folding chairs are also available.

5€ per adult which is great value for money - highly recommended.

After you pay entrance the lockers for bags are to your right behind reception and then go downstairs, left to reception where the exhibit starts.

(Something the abrupt receptionist didn't have the common courtesy to tell us.)

Excellent, minor improvements to exhibits
Jan 2019 • Friends
Very interesting settings the museum has, I really had fun. I only hope they could fix some of the interactive exibits (e.g. the exhibits where you and a friend can call each other on a old inductor telephone). Many of them are broken and it would really great to have them all fixed for more fun! But in overall, I loved the museum

Interesting museum dedicated to telecommunication
Jan 2019 • Family
Located along the Museum Row in the south bank of Main River, this museum specialises in telecommunications. Exhibits are dedicated to history of telecommunications and its evolution over the years.

While we were there, a new exhibition on photography by Stefan Enders titled Far From Brussels was ongoing. The pictures of all layers of society in 15 EU countries were exhibited here. Thought provoking.
