Terrible zoo...there really is no place for zoos in city centres any more. Dirty, cramped and often smelly conditions for many of the animals. Disgraceful. Conservation plays no part here... and-impossible to park!

Nice zoo, many animals but some of the animal houses are kind of stinky are dirty. Really enjoyed the one with the nocturnals though. Weather wasn't that good, I recommend going when it's sunny, because most of the animals stay inside if it's cold.

In January 2014, I spent an enjoyable morning visiting the Frankfurt Zoo.It is fun small fun zoo. It has a great monkey house. The nocturnal house was also well worth a visit.

The Zoo is open 365 days a year so you are good to go. prices for one day admission are 10 Euro for adult, 5 Euro for kids under 17 years of age or if you have a larger family you can get the family pass for 25 Euros. In... More
