This one was one of the most satisfying museums I have ever visited for me! The building is great, I loved it in terms of architecture and the things that building had inside, were equally great and totally interesting.

Medium-sized natural history museum that somehow manages to have a little bit on everything: A huge room of stuffed birds from all over the world, a dinosaur area, insects, whales, mammoths and elephants, a nook on mummies, a section of weird stuff in jars (lamb...More

This is a great place to visit, we were there for about 3 hours and there was loads more to see. All the signs that were in German had been translated into English, even down to the small fossil exhibits. There is plenty of things...More

Yes, you can compare it with the NHM in London or with the AMNH in NYC! Founded by honourable citizen of Frankfurt, it offers authentic exhibits, such as a huge the skeleton of a dinosaur, children love it

Huge display of Giant dinosaurs they impressed my 3 girls. Great feature on elephants that showed evolution! Pity we didn’t have time to do the full museum. Great for a rainy day out

this place is the best. They have an extensive collection along with informative displays. The day we were there we encountered many school groups touring and they were well behaved.

We went there because we love natural sciences and we read that it is the 3rd natural history museum of the Germany. It is really beautiful because it has a lot of fossils and animals and you could look into every species of the world.

Visited on a Sunday during a busy family event day. Some of the exhibits were impressive, but the place felt dated and few signs are translated to English. But it was free and let us kill some time until the nearby restaurant opened.
