This was the best tour. There were only 3 people for this tour in December 2018 so we did the tour in a beautiful black Mercedes sedan. Our guide, Thomas, was the best. He was informative and friendly. Because the group was small, we were...More
We had reservations for the 1:00 city tour. I had used Viatour before and had always had a very good, professional experience. When we arrived and presented our voucher, we were told to wait outside. The guide came outside, told us to wait three more...More
It was raining and cold but the tour bus was warm enough. The translator audio was sometimes hard to hear and understand. It took us around the financial district, the
Hauptbahnhof and along the river where there were lots of people mulling around and Christmas...More
I took the 45 minute tour bus from the main entrance of the central station and was completely disappointed. The pre recorded narration was not always properly timed with the highlighted sites, long gaps of silence while people were hopping on and off the bus...More
I expected a fully-narrated city tour from a bus. Instead, you go to the address and it's a small hole-in-the-wall 2nd party seller. You get your "ticket" and wait for your guide. He then walks you to the main train station a few blocks away,...More
A very easy way of seeing a lot of the city in a short space of time. The bus was very tired and dirty, the driver was grumpy but the tour guide very informative. The half hour stop at the rail station was a pain...More
We have done "Hop on-Hop off" bus tours in many European cities. This was by far the worst. First, Frankfurt does not lend itself well to this type of tour. The sights are compactly located and usually just off the bus accessible streets, so you...More
The tour is via bus and walking. It is fast paced with not a lot of time to relax and take pictures. However, after the tour you are able to hop on and off the bus on all the places on the tour and take...More
Had a long layover in Frankfurt and decided to go into the city to see familiar sites and people watch. Since it was quite hot, decided the Hop A Bus would be an easy option. You hop on, ride a bit, hop off wander a...More

The railway station is right at the airport. Plan in advance prior to your arrival here. Study the reviews of Frankfurt tours. check which tour will be better, a bus tour, half day tour or a guided tour. You can buy a ticket combining train and bus. Your arrival and departure times matter most. Wish you a pleasant stay here in Frankfurt.
I have a lovely layover in Frankfurt in May. I have found Frankfurt on foot tours, they look great and will meet me at the airport. But the cost is 75 eur for 3 hours and we will be restrained by time as it will be in the evening. Then I found on the airport website that there is a tour at 7:30pm that does a 2 hour tour of the city from the airport for about 30 eur, you find your own way back. Do any of you know of this tour? Is it a good tour, will I get to see all the highlights of...More

I have never heard of this tour, but it sounds like something ETS might provide, a basic airport - city transfer and while we do this, here are some headphones to listen to while we drive around. Do you have a link for this tour that leaves from the airport, drops you off in the city and then lets you find your way back on your own?
