..but how great wouldn't this place be if it was non smoking. They have the best bartenders/drinks in town, the interior is excellent, but when you have to send all your clothes to dry cleaning after each visit it is not worth it.

We stopping in relatively early, around 730pm, and there was plenty room to sit. There more than enough waitstaff, obviously getting ready for a busier night ahead. Though I thought the cocktails were a little high priced (16 euro ea), they were carefully made and pretty good.
This is clearly an excellent place for a date night, perhaps after dinner at Roomers restaurant..
Though I did not experience 1st hand. They are open till 4am everyday but Sunday and then they close at 2am
The one downer is it is a smoker bar and there is hardly any ventilation...of you are a nonsmoker you might want to plan a shorter visit or avoid all together.

The new doorman are terrible. I get it that they have restrictions due to COVID-19. Still you wonder why they let all sorts of people in while former regulars not. So, if you decide to make it all the way to this part of the town be prepared to leave frustrated.

8 of us just spent the weekend at Roomers and often frequented the bar. The barman was rude, arrogant and obnoxious! There are plenty of good bars in Frankfurt and I certainly would not recommend this bar until the barman learns some manners.

The security guy told us the bar is full but it wasn't. The drinks are very expensive but the service is bad and super arrogant! I never try it again and I can't recommend this bar!

It was not our first visit to this place... It was a Friday night... We arrived three there was a bouncer... He asked us what we want... We answered we want to stay at the bar... He said I am sorry it is full all tye place is full... We said we can wait. He said it is impossible even though we saw people waiting to get there. He said there are no more place for you to stay and wait... It was a very rude behavior from him... I am not coming back again... It is not recommended at all...

For some reason i could not write reply to the roomer hotel management reply to my initial review of the Roomers hotel. So, i post it here.
Dear Roomers management!
First of all, thank you for the reply. However, it does not provide any answers. Moreover, sometimes you provide misleading information in your answer and/or the information, which does not correspond the personal experience i had. Point by point.
1. My personal case is that the blocked eur100 still not returned to the card, despite i left the hotel on 15th of Sept and today is 20th. And the question is not about blocking, rather anout the time of return!
2. Yes, I agree that Bahnhofsviertel is not the best location and I knew it. However, you cannot say its clean around. It is just dirty! Very dirty! Comparing to many other locations in the same city. Not your fault, but people just have to take it for granted.
3. The Bar. I did not say anything bad about your coctails. I mentioned ESPRESSO and FRESH ORANGE JUICE. Espresso is from capsules and juice - from vig bottles. Espresso is not what it should be with a fancy bar, and juice is not fresh, its packaged with sugar. Don't you agree??? A bar is not just coctails. Its about QUALITY. Any skillful barman can make lots of coctails from good ingredients. But overall quality is about NOT USING CAPSULES at least and buying fancy coffe machine!
4. Pillows. Indeed, it is said one can ask for a different pillow. We asked! And you said YOU DID NOT HAVE ANY DIFFERENT! It is personal experience, not fiction. Looks like your statement about 'pillow bar'is a fantasy. You just brought us same pillows - flat mess of textiles. Good you had them... it helped a little.
5. The SMELL. There's CIGARETTE SMELL EVERYWHERE. Thank you for not denying it.
So, in general the 'bourlesqueness' and 'lasciviousness' you mention definately were planned... but they are... 'not-more-than-medim-class'... comparing to, for example, Sofitel in Munich, which ia also near Hauptbahnhof by the way and is really a great example of a truly fancy and stylish hotel.
My message to TripAdvisor users was not that your hotel is bad. It is not. But it is also definately not so good, far not so good as its advertised. And also, if you point to bourlesque and lascivious design... aome elemets of it are in... mainly in the restaurant and the bar... but not in the rooms and corridors. They are just plain.
So, thank you again for your one-sided reply. It would be great if next time you also mention that you have 'wide selection of lascivious COFFEE CAPSULES'. And still look forward to getting my 'blocked' 100eur back!)))

Does this location accommodate early check-in? I will be staying in Frankfurt for 15 hours with my wife for layover and would like to have somewhere to rest and shower but are hoping to check-in around 11am-noon.
