Guided tours are free but must be requested. Impressive office building near the river. A former fruit and vegetable market is part of the building. There is a visitors center and Holocaust memorial on-site.

Even if you cannot got into the tower during the guided visitors tour, it is very interesting and impressive to see the ECB from inside

It was an amazing building in the east side of Frankfurt. Wanted to see this building as the 'sign' of the single currency for Europe and integrated monetary policy across the EU!

The building is tall and well represents the power of money. I just passed near this skyscraper not interested in visiting it. Later when I found that the visit had to be made well in advance I didn't have any regrets for not visiting it. The tower can be seen from many places in the town and being near the entrance does not add any good. So, if you are nearby only look at it, otherwise, it is better not to go there, it's worthless.

The new seat of the European Central Bank in Frankfurt’s Ostend district is a perfect example of urban planning gone utterly wrong. Rather than integrating the complex into the city’s urban fabric and welcoming locals and visitors alike, it tries its best keeping the people that financed its giant 3€ billion price tag (the European taxpayers) out.
The entire area (we are talking about an area of 450m x 350m right in the heart of the city along the river Main) is completely fenced off and even surrounded by moats! Visitors are not allowed to enter outside of guided tours, for which you need to register well in advance. The park surrounding the building is thus not accessable for the public.
In my opinion this is not only the worst urban planning mistake Frankfurt has made in recent years with fencing off such a huge area in the city center, but also a slap in the face of European citizens.

The Euro Bank Tower is a cultural and architectural marvel only the most cold hearted and callous could not be in awe of and ponder the history that led to this moment.

This building was inaugurated in 2014 in the Frankfurt East End on a quite controversial time, when Frankfurt almost experienced a civil war for those few days. The building is a new tower which updated the city skyline, the new seat replacing wheat is now called the old European Central Bank in the city centre, also famous for its Euro sign.

The site of the European Central Bank is worth a visit. How they changed the old Grossmarkt in this supermodern conglomerate of lowrise and skyscrapers is just amazing.

This was a standout building that we viewed close up on our resent holiday to Frankfurt ,it's impressive enough close up but to me the best views are from across the River Main over in the Sachsenhausen district.
I think the bank was established in 1998 but that really doesn't interest me in the least but the building itself looks awesome and makes for some great photographic opportunities.
It's easy to spot in most any part of the city your in but is found on SonnemannstraĂźe.
Well worth checking out.

Hi guys. I’m wondering if the tour takes you through the main building or even up stairs or is there a viewing Plattform? Thanks, regards.

I’ve been to the ECB with a group of other students and the visit was restricted to the first level where they have a visitors center. We couldn’t really see much of the building itself
