I visited this Park recently to listen to a Sweing Band on a Sunday morning. Very nice park to walk around. Excellent cafe near the stage. Lot's of outside seating and good selection of food and drink

I grew up playing in this park, and with the exception of the restaurant located in the center, it really has not changed much over the years. A great place to relax, enjoy your surroundings, reflect in peace.

The Herrngarten offers a delightful walk (any time of year) between the Johannesviertel and Martinsviertel, or from either of those quarters into town. There have been cases of muggings at night, so stay clear after dark if you are alone.
