Hello, a really great musical, you can't say anything against it. But the tickets are very overpriced. We sat in the second to last row right under the roof and paid €300 for 2 adults and 2 kids as part of a discount campaign.
But what's even worse is:
There are very strict controls to ensure that you don't bring any drinks in. Not even a small bottle of water for the children. A 0.33 liter beer costs €4.90; a 0.25 liter water costs €3.50. etc. Then you weren't allowed to take drinks into the hall. Only with an Elsa drink cup. Of course, another €2.50 extra. A complete rip-off. And of course it was very warm in the entire building. Everything is calculated and calculated to get money out of people's pockets.

An old venue. Despite the premium seats, the view was very, very poor because the rows of seats were not raised. I ended up paying almost 150 euros for half a stage set because the other half was a large head. The seats are also extremely uncomfortable and have no legroom. After the break, I could hardly sit down and didn't know what to do with my legs and still be able to see the stage. And I was so looking forward to T. Borchert as Krolock and was prepared to make the long journey. But in the future, I will avoid Stage Hamburg.

We are very disappointed. We forgot to enter the voucher code when ordering. We contacted customer service straight away and were treated rudely. They told us that the system doesn't allow it. Hello?? Where do we live? The technology can do it easily and their system definitely can, they just don't want to. Disgusting.
Furthermore, Dance of the Vampires was super loud, so loud that you couldn't understand the singers and sometimes you really had to cover your ears.

Music and stage were brilliant and well done, but the story .... How can you write Hades, god of the underworld, someone who has brought so much terror into the hearts of the ancient Greeks, how can you write him as such a joke character with fat mommy issues??????? The humor was exaggeratedly German but also good. But the casting was also brilliant, I loved the Muses and also Hercules, and the diversity. But really what did they smoke when they wrote the script for hades, and replacing bad luck and disgust with two random dudes names Heinz and Karl was also weird. 4/5 #bringtheoldhadesback

I don't know if every performance is like tonight, but today it was very magical! Today's show was so moving and emotional that not only I, but also other spectators next to me cried with emotion... So I expected a lot, but not this magic that jumped from the actors and the stage directly to the audience. At the end, the main actresses were also very moved. I would have liked to know why... We wish the whole team all the best and lots of success! Simply GREAT!

I had hoped for more from it. The beginning dragged on like chewing gum and somehow it just didn't grab my attention. I love the films and have seen many great musicals, but this one isn't one of them. I didn't think the extra songs that aren't part of the film were particularly good either and were pretty boring. Then there was the fact that many parents seemed to think that this musical was suitable for small children. However, it goes on for a relatively long time and many children were bored, couldn't sit still and were very loud, which was extremely annoying. I think there should be a minimum age of 8 or so. You're just not doing younger children any favors by doing this. Overall, we would have preferred to save the money for this. What a shame.

We sat way behind and the price of €89.99 is unjustifiable.
I really liked the partly unwritten plot. This did not make it boring and came across more coherently.
Especially the actress Celine Pieper, who played Anna, was absolutely convincing. I found her mega buoyant, well sung, great voice... During the break there was also a lot of positive talk about her because she just stood out.
Unfortunately not Elsa, played by Sabrina Weckerlin. She seemed powerless, quiet and reserved. It bothered me a lot how she interpreted her role. At the beginning with hanging shoulders, uncertain, statements asked like questions e.g. "But Anna, you don't marry someone you barely know(?)"
It was very uncomfortable for me to watch. A 38-year-old woman plays an insecure Elsa.
The acting performance of the other performers was fine. Not outstanding, but not underground either.
The set design was great! In the beginning I got really scared when I saw the badly animated screen (see picture) with the poison/neon green lettering "The Ice Queen". There was actually magic on stage, great lighting, Elsa's dress is really changing...

The musical itself and especially the lead actress Willemijn Verkaik were amazing.
But the price/performance ratio is no longer right. We had tickets in price category 1 (at Stage it's mediocre). Row 25.
The journey by ferry is funny and something special. I was annoyed by the price of the cloakroom. You don't have to hand anything in, but it's nicer to sit on your lap without a winter jacket. Then we stood in line for a long time to hand in the jackets. Then the lady couldn't give them to me. I was told to get in another line.
The book for the musical is extortionate and doesn't contain as much information about the piece and the staff as it used to. What a pity.
The show started on time. But after an hour there was another break. It lasted over half an hour. The second part was even shorter. The constant rustling of the popcorn bags was also annoying. It's a shame that they sell things like that. But commerce is a big deal here. Cocktails come out of a can and taste like water even without ice.
There weren't enough employees at the clothes counter. Long queues and crowds.
The price is no longer reasonable for the service. If you want to be closer to the stage, there are premium and premium+ seats. The price, however, is beyond good and evil!

I thought the musical was very bad. If you're going to put on a musical called Disney's Frozen, you should stick to the film. The order of the scenes is sometimes reversed. The cast doesn't fit the roles in the film. The actors' accents also create a strange atmosphere. My 5-year-old daughter didn't want to go back into the hall after the break. Every other musical I've seen before was better.

We went to see Frozen with our 5-year-old daughter. The journey by ferry went smoothly, there was a bit of a crowd to get on the ship. The show was breathtaking, we were all blown away and really positively surprised. The effects were implemented excellently, our little one jumped now and again, but was never frightened, hearing protection might be a good idea for smaller children. The musical was not too long-winded. This won't be the last time we go to see this musical.

Hello. I’m assuming the theatre not in the city centre? Is the theatre easy to get to from the city centre? Google Maps is showing a journey time of nearly an hour. Is a water taxi necessary? Thanks

Hi zusammen,
