Wunderbarer Kaffee in einzelnen Cafetieres serviert. Perfekt inmitten der renovierten Lagerhäuser gelegen.

Great coffee served in individual cafetieres. Perfect setting amongst the restored warehouses of the Hamburg Speicherstadt.

If you love coffee and making coffee this is the place for you. Part shop, part museum it's crammed with coffee, coffee grinders and all kind of coffee paraphernalia.

I tried this cafe in Hamburg back in August and now since I am back in the city I stopped by again for a nice cup of coffee. I didn't visit the museum because most reviews said that its all in German. But I stopped by for coffee many times, their coffee and cakes are so good and the baristas are very friendly. You can also get many gifts from this place and defiantly good coffee beans.

We thought we’d stop in for a cup of coffee and try our luck with getting a tour. No luck with the tour, as we were told that you must book in advance.

We found the coffee to be okay, I can’t say we’d be in a rush to come back just for a coffee, as we have had better coffee elsewhere. The staff in the cafe section were friendly and the croissants we had were very nice.

Worth a visit if you are in the area, but don’t go out of your way to come here.

This old round will prove completely untrue when you visit the museum.it is situated in one of the old warehouses in the Speicherstadt in the Hamburg harbour and architecturally already a wonderful sight .inside you are tempted by the smell of coffee and you enter a sales room with interesting little souvenirs around the topic coffee, you can have a light snack and a-or more-cup of coffee .Downstairs is a small museum about the history of coffee and and many fascinating exhibits .The tour of this museum will take about one hour including your coffee break in the main part and you will find it relaxing and informative.

The design of the coffe shop is unique. It's a pitty that they offer guided tours in English only on Sundays.. it wasn't worth it to pay entrance to the museum without having some guidance about what u are looking at.

We were looking for a good cup of coffee and found it! My Wife especially enjoys ambiance, smells and a relaxing atmosphere. She was happy the second we walked in!

Rather hidden museum in the port area of Hamburg. Lots of history of coffee as well as its relationship to Hamburg and Germany. Interesting in dual languages.

Visited there today. Got there a little early, no worries I will wait. Door opened at 10am sharp, no smile from the young gentleman employee (did not get his name). In fact, he looked annoyed that customers were there at opening time. I wished him a good morning and smiled, I got a curt reply and still no smile. Walked around the place and wanted to make some purchases but everything is in German so I needed help. Approached the same young gentleman at the cash. He is counting his till and I ask if he can help me. He once again seems annoyed and tells me maybe in 10 minutes. I want to buy the expensive Indonesian coffee but it is locked as it costs over 70€ for 250g. I wander a little more. Finally I leave at 10:15. He is still counting his cash. Hours are from 10am to 6pm. Lost sale for the little shop of approximately 100€ on a Sunday morning. Very unfortunate for the store and a waste of my time.

Nice and smooth, jazzy indoors, the smell is amazing, the stuff nice and kind, worthstopping by. The museum itself it is notrhing special, there is not much info in english plus it would be great if you could have a litle degustation or something with the visiting of the museum. That would be must appreciated so people can learn avout the.coffee and actually taste some. Just a suggestion. Ceheers!
