It's another church and not as lovely as St. Michaelis. Wouldn't go there twice. Loved the door knob though.

They host a Christmas Market around three sides of the church. Although small, it is generally higher quality than many other such markets and less crowded. The church itself was nice, too.

Just of Rathausmarket and what a Church. It needs a little care and attention. The pipe organ was what caught my eye first. Massive. Caught the last hymn of a mass and was treated to a melodious tune on a Flute and a Cello Bass

It was fine to walk through, but it's not particularly spectacular compared to other churches in Germany.

Just off the busy high street. Wheelchair entrance is around the corner. Once inside there isn't much to see inside. Very plain.

The chur ch was very plain inside with a tower that had 500 steps. After 340 the heat I became oppressive. There were great views to be had in all directions. This is not for the unfit ones

The route to the top of the tower is not for the faint hearted. The stairs are steep and after 544 steps you certainly need a shower. The reward is a view comparable to the one from st Peter's in Rome. You can do it!

We went into the church on Saturday and found the choir practicing and it sounded beautiful. We decided to make the trip upstairs (544 steps to the top) and it was well worth the trip, as it affords a fantastic view of the city. Take the time to stop and look at the view on the different platforms, as it... More

Not so special apart being in the vicinity of one of the local hangouts in Hamburg. I saw some people climbing up the tower. It seems free. Did not consider it worth the effort though
