It was a great experience and we really enjoyed the show. The atmosphere was great and it’s a small and beautiful theater. I can highly recommend the performance of “Eine Stadt sucht einen Mörder”.

We went to see The Great Comet with Josh Groban. We sat ON STAGE! It was interactive and amazing experience and I'd recommend it to everyone. If you're not sold, a perk is you don't have to wait in that long intermission bathroom line because you're on stage and can't be late ;)

Edgar Wallace would have liked this. A theatre dedicated to his works of thrillers. We were amazed by what a small cast can accomplish. Well worth the price of admission.

They are at their best when playing crime stories such as Edgar Wallace or Sherlock Holmes. But - if you are very lucky - you may catch a show of Agatha Christie's "Mousetrap" (check out the theatre's website). Another interesting offer is the "Krimi-dinner" when you have a nice menue dinner at a nearby hotel and the actors sit there with you and play around you - of course, it's a crime story - while you eat. The ambiente is simply red and fits very well into the close-by Reeperbahn ambiente. Nothing like it than having dinner nearby, go for a play at the theatre and then hit the Reeperbahn entertainment or the clubs at Große Freiheit

I have been to this theater on a Russian ballet presentation that was breathtaking. However, being a person fairly tall, sometimes the theater seats arrangement made it a difficult task to see the stage (not to mention ballerina's feet - that was impossible) as it's a rather small place with seats displayed in an old fashioned way. Even though I was in the 11th row, it was hard as the rows are not so conveniently leveled in a good vertical distance from the others. I'd recommend getting even a closer row to the stage.
