This place is worth waiting for... it was packed with singing people, and live bands playing dance music. The serving is done with a smile. Try it.

Driving from Viborg Denmark to Antwerp Belgium this was a overnight stay in Hamburg. Out for a quick drink before sleeping, found it to be a pleasent watering hole.

We enjoyed a great night out last new year's event. The Reeperbahn was crazy, people everywhere and long queues for the big clubs. We wanted something in between and booked our tickets for the Thomas Read in advance (tickets were available at the door though). The atmosphere was great, lots of people but never too crowded. Greatest thing is that... More

The beer is cold the music is good BUT don't come hungry as they don't serve food. Very nice pub to have a drink or 3 before going out. A little off main drag (upstairs) but worth it. Prost!

Great pub, bar staff were awesome dealing with and joining in with our rugby club outing while dealing with another two stag parties. We made this our base on the long weekend in Hamburg.

Just about on the REEPERBAHN this is one of the most famous pubs on the strip. It's a great Irish pub that you ascend up a long staircase but the effort is well worth the trek as this is a PROPER Irish pub. We were here on a Friday /Saturday and to say this pub was full is a total... More

The pub is a bit hidden, up a very long flight of stairs in the Reeperbahn district of Hamburg, but well worth the trip. Let me preface by saying, that I live in Dublin and been to over 200 pubs in Ireland. in terms of decoration and interior, this is as close as you will get in Hamburg, now since... More

We went there on a Saturday night for partying after a sports event. For the mandatory admission fee of 5€, you’ll get a free shot to ensure a good start :-) The live music was absolutely great: A singer/songwriter on one, and a cover-band on the lower floor… they all played cover music and everybody will sing along after a... Let's start with the only drawback: with that entrance, 30m walking,up to the stairs, I think that a lot of people who don't know this pub or don't go there with the pub crowl (once again thank guys)will skip it: ERROR I don't know if I was lucky but I found in one evening nice live music in the main...
