Even if you don't speak german, it deserves a visit (English tour available) this was the firs Dungeon that I have visited and it worth it. From outside it looks small, but it has many scenarios. that are based in disasters that happened in Hamburg . It opens at 10 am and depending the time of the year, it closes... More

Well worth a visit, great visual and verbal displays, need translator if non german speaking. Good history presentation of Hamburg and very interesting. Not for fainthearted as there are some attractions inside that are like show rides. Well done and if you have never done one of Merlin entertainments Dungeons then do this.

Honestly I did not know what I should expect from this dungeon, but knowing the one in London I had a different expectation. To me it had far to much of "theater", role plays (by good actors) involving the participants (which I personally don't like). A bit of history of Hamburg and than suddenly it switched to a madhouse scenery,... More

This is an interactive event. If you only speak English, you should attend at one of their scheduled times for an English tour. There are two times they take photos of you within your group (even a group of 2). You start out with a photo shoot, which of course they offer you a chance to buy it at the... More

The Hamburg Dungeon is a mix of real history and some acting with made-up scenarios. I had wanted to do one of the "Dungeons" tours for a while enjoyed it overall, but I will say it's a little too pricey for the length and more cheesy than scary. Probably best for families with kids who are into gruesome things.

Great place to learn about the 600 yrs of hamburg history. The way the actors/actresses portray the history is great as well as the special effects. Everyone gets involved sometimes a bit too much. Highly recommend you take a visit for a different tour.

We had a great experience at the Hamburg dungeon, and would really recommend it to others with a sense of humour who wants a laugh.

I will start with the positive: At Hamburg Dungeon they pay attention to detail; costumes are good, actors play a convincing role, sets are authentic... However all that is not enough to really get you "into the mood" and you end up more annoyed than scared.

I was there with my friends. They ll tell u the scary story inside, just problem for us was that they did in German, we haven't understood anything but the theme inside is really scary and interesting to visit once.

Its pretty much an informative horror attraction that teaches you of the disasters that happened in Hamburg. Be aware of jump scares! We weren't able to make it for the very limited English tours, but we thought it would be ok with German. If you don't speak German you probably won't enjoy it as much as the others, and it... More
